Dear Darren, my name is Daniel Patten and i am 16 years old. Can i just start by saying that i am delighted that we have signed yourself in time for the new season! To be honest i didn´t know a lot about you so i did some research on Derby World videos and youtube. What i found out about you is you basically put your body on the line and are a proper defender! You are the very thing Barnsley have been missing for years! I have been assured by Derby fans you have been a fantastic servant for them and that you are brilliant at this level! All barnsley fans are really looking forward to the new season and all believe we can get in the playoffs! We hope we do because we apparently are a ´small club´ and ´dont deserve to be in the premier league´, and want to prove the people who say this right!
